I’ve almost purged every room in our home of clutter, paper, excess. Not only is our house cleaner and more organized, there are no qualms of having guests over at a moment’s notice. No stress!! Because we’re getting rid of things, it helps us limit our purchases…especially with the great deals tempting us!

Decorate! It’s brilliant to come home to a beautifully decorated house. It doesn’t have to be expensive to decorate. Not only do people have to quiet themselves to hear you, it will keep your blood pressure down, which is necessary with all the treats we indulge in starting with Thanksgiving.

Make homemade gifts. Not only can making gifts cut your shopping expenses, the joy of giving someone something you put your heart and soul can bring joy to your life as well as the receivers.
