Music is awesome. We have dance parties weekly at my house, and last night the boys had a blast. My five-year-old wanted to dance with his daddy like we did at our wedding, and instead of running for my camera, I sat at our table and watched them, face-to-face, talk and giggle as Justin slowly spun him in circles.
It was a beautiful moment.
Then it was my turn, and I nestled into my love’s strong embrace, relishing the warmth of his arms around me. Closing my eyes, I thought back to our wedding day as we slow danced, and how almost ten years later, I’m more in love with him now than I ever thought possible.
And as we turned, little boys wanted in on the action. So amidst the little arms trying to separate us, I breathed Justin in, slowly exhaled, and took my littlest one for a spin of his own.

Do you have a favorite song? I have lots of songs that I love, but there is one song that has been my absolute favorite since I was driving home after talking to one of my greatest friends, Shalyn, about my decision to stay home from Florida State or return. We were scheduled to leave the next day, and I’d felt conflicted.
In my dad’s blue Honda CRV, this song came on, and while they are one of my all-time favorite groups ever, this song is my song. It’s been my favorite song for 13 years now, and will probably continue to be. I can never play it just once…it’s always on repeat, and I can repeat a song a million times, let me tell you.
I wanted to share it with you, so I found it on YouTube and chose the one with the most views. Don’t watch the video if you don’t want. Just close your eyes and listen, or watch the video and sing along. Either way, I hope you love this song as much as I do. Enjoy!
