Hello from TN! We’re visiting my aunt and grandma and having the bestest time! It’s hot but not humid. Makes me want to live here forever. I know I’m late posting. I blame the fresh air. I feel like the Pioneer woman.
My aunt lives on four-acres of wonderful land. She’s added two new dogs, three cats, two kittens, quail, chickens, 4 kune-kune-crossed-with-American-guinea-hog babies, and a horse to her household. The boys are having the best time running around, building forts in the magnolia trees, and running after the puppies.
Aren’t they cute? Butter, Beulah, Bacon, and Bartholomew are adorable, and afraid of us if we stand too close to their food dish. Bacon and Bart are destined for our tummies…well, if I can get my aunt to send us some!
The chickens are fun – they will produce eggs when they get a little older.
The horse’s name is Rhys, and he’s pretty special. He is a Lineback Dunn stallion, and his lineage goes back to horses before horses. Pretty interesting.
The nice thing is that there aren’t any responsibilities (outside of watching our kids) and we get to just hang out. Justin and I are having a good time just being together.
Marry the guy you want to spend every day with. The guy who you can play hide-and-seek with your kids with, and the guy who will teach your little boys to shoot a bow and arrow because he wants to, not because he has to.
Loving my family, and loving you guys. Have a fantastic rest of your day!
