Thank you to everyone who filled out the 2014 Reader Survey. While I learned a lot, and found that I had good idea of who my audience was. I’m really excited about all the topics you guys are interested in. So much fun!

This past week has been crazy. We took the kids to Disney – two of them for the first time – and they had a blast. They have a new Sorcerer game around all the “lands.” The kids are given trading cards with different heroes and powers, and they hold their spells up to the cameras at the different portals. Clever – the boys LOVED that more than the rides.

We did the Carousel of Progress (an oldie but goodie), the Haunted Mansion, and the Swiss Family Robinson tree house. Not a lot of rides for Disney, but the lines were waaay longer than we expected and it was cruelly hot. The boys had more fun with the Sorcerer game, so instead of making them wait 65 minutes for It’s a Small World, we let them do that.

I’m traveling in the next few days. Not looking forward to the plane ride. I always get motion sickness. Dramamine to the rescue. I did pick up some peanut M&Ms for the plane as a treat. I’m attending a conference hosted by my literary agency, and I get to see my Grandma, since the conference is close to where she lives. Double bonus.

I’m excited about the #TGSK series I have coming, as in, Things Girls Should Know series. I’ve had fun filming some videos. There is a “bra” video on youtube. Fun times.

I’m looking forward to getting back to a regular posting schedule now that the kids are back in school. Hallelujah – even though I miss them like crazy.
