Summer Camp

Summer camp is awesome.

Justin and I are at Lake Aurora this week helping out with the 7th, 8th, and 9th graders and what an amazing week it has been.

Our topics have been mercy, grace (it just hurts), forgiveness and heaven.

We’ve laughed more this week than we have all summer. What a great staff we have had. New Life from FCC has been fantastic and James’ helpers from his church have done fabulous with counseling their kids.

We’ve played some frisbee golf, helped kids make decisions, laughed til we cried, ate amazing food, had our hearts broken over our sin, threw axes and shot arrows, and tonight we’re rejoicing about heaven.

Camp is incredible. I’m already excited about next year.
